~ About the Author ~

 Hello! My name is Casey, and some come to know me as Imagi77 in other places. Welcome to my first blog of sorts. I am still learning my way around this platform, little by little. 

I decided to make this online storybook recently since it seems to be a more fun way to read stories instead of the typical coming upon random things while scrolling. I've been a fanfiction writer for over a decade so far, and I've been coming close to actually writing original tales fairly soon. I have a score of neat concepts to explore, haha!

In late 2023, I underwent a close call with breast cancer, and so I made a tough decision to go under a double mastectomy to avoid radiation and possible chemo. My mind went to a lot of places during that time, recovering. Granted, it was only a month long to get better, but the year leading up to that was one of the most darkest times I had to go through. My family was scared, I was scared and all the people I knew had come to support, even my work family had worried. It was the biggest no no since the earthquake of '94.

So, with that on top of everything else, I often dove into my imagination when things got complicated or complex for my slow processing self so that I could recalibrate and work through rough times in life. And whenever I do that I'd act out or write out the complexities of what I felt. I have had trouble - and still do - explaining emotions or feelings in conversation ever since I was little, but I am able to explain anything complicated or deep through the written word. It's been an outlet I've relied on for two decades. 

My healing path has gotten better so far, and if it was not for writing things out, by use of muses and inspirational stories, I would have been a little different - and not in a good way.

I am a healing Christian. I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. He gave His life up so that I could live with Him. He is my permanent guide and teacher. I work in child development and I've been settled in a nice industry that specializes in spiritual growth for the young and new. I feel that God has been placing me in these places so that I could encourage the future generation that life is created with love and purpose. Creativity and imagination can go a really long way, and these gifts makes the world a bit brighter as long as you listen, feel and love as you go ~
